The gathering of Northeast Kingdom authors held on August 30, 2008 was a big success. Many authors turned out to show off their works and sell their books. As important it was a time for the authors to connect with one another. The following photos are some of the authors who attended the event. The gathering was dedicated to Harriet Fisher of Lyndonville, a prolific writer who looked forward to coming to the event. However, she passed away on August 4 at 90 years old. Her son, Kermit Fisher, and his wife, Carol, of Lyndonville (seen in this photo), attended in honor of their loved one. Kermit thanked the gathering of authors and others in attendance for their support of his mother and her works. |
